i used to leave it up to big dummy to post all this stuff to my fans via my listserve. but you know big dummy and how he got that name. well - in typical big dummy fashion he crashed his computer and had to get a new hard drive and, of course, he didn't back up any of his e-mail data and junk so the listserve got deep sixed (trashed for all you landlubbers).
so looks like it's up to me.
fortunately big dummy had this other laptop that he used to use so i was able to get online and create this blog and now i won't have to dictate stuff to him and ask him to post it to my fans i'll just sneak out this old computer and log on and post stuff here whenever we get into port and near a wifi. that's when he's usually off the boat doing stuff i don't know what hopefully buying cans of tuna and getting more rocks for my box-o-rocks where i poop and stuff.
we were supposed to leave tonight to begin the voyage from newport new hampshire to key west the conch republic but b.d. says nasty weather coming he's such a wimp so maybe won't be till sunday. me i like nasty weather. never get sea sick since the first night out when i gave b.d's sleeping bag a babtism of kitty vomit and other nasty stuff.
well not much to report i'll try to post something maybe before we get to a place called big apple where b.d says we might stop and see governors island where he used to live when he was a government sailor a long long time ago with the coast guard.
or maybe i can post at rowayton where he wants to stop and see pierre and family the really nice people who gave us this boat last year when we gave them a bunch of green paper.
boy this is hard work i gotta nap now.
